Think about it.
Who do you respect more, the Ukrainians fighting for their very survival, or those here who are so protected and pampered that “America’s Game” might not even be able to be played? Their very existence, versus our playing a game. No real contest.
The Ukrainians who are fighting for their lives, and their country’s uncertain future, have become “the heart and soul of Europe”, as they show us the best side of humanity under adversity unlimited by selfishness, and greed.
One would hope that the current unexpected international events present America, and the world, with the very unique opportunity to be UNITED to “do the RIGHT thing”. And, it presents us here, on this side of the pond, with the stark contrast to our prior administration, which tried to divide us over our differences through their selfish, and overly-pampered behaviors.
May God protect our Ukrainian comrades. They show us love of country, because it is their home, and not motivated by personal gain.
The world owes them all our collective gratitude, and all the possible support our collective creative minds can muster.
All our thanks to our European allies, and friends, but also to our administration, and intelligence agencies to whom we can all be proud. They appear to have done it impressively correct so far!
God bless America. When she’s good, she’s very good. Still the leader of the free world.
Not perfect, but neither are us humans, a fact that our country’s founders understood very well.
I personally thank them from the bottom of my heart with tears in my eyes. They make me proud to be an American, who loves his country also because it is my home.
