Stop being beholden to the Medical Industrial Complex, and your constituents.

Before you decide how to pay for medical care, and how to cover uninsured individuals, take a look into the causes of the problem.

The medical industry has evolved into a complex business, which costs too much at every level. Sure “Big Pharma” is a visible part of the problem, and easy to blame, but to focus on them is to loose sight of the fact that there is blame at every level.

This includes your constituents, our patients. Obesity which is responsible for much of the health care costs is increasing steadily in the U.S. every decade.

The answers on how to pay for medical care in this country are to control the costs charged by the health care system, and for individuals to take a more active role in their own health.

Not surprisingly none of the candidates have as yet addressed the essence of our health care dilemma. And, look at where it has gotten us.
