Of course the President knew about the dangers posed by the Corona virus, that is why we have intelligence agencies which we pay for with our taxes. They did their job. And, it seems he understood the seriousness of the virus. His reaction seems to have been one of defiance, as if it could not hurt him. But, he did not think it out, created his own false reality, and failed to protect us. Shameful, but explainable by his disordered personality.
